Potions
Phylacter Elixirs from Wightwold…as mixed drinks!
Apprentice Elixirs
Brimscald
-1 part grenadine
-1 part fireball whiskey (can use cinnamon schnapps for better color worse taste)
-1 part blue curacao
-3 parts grapefruit juice (best use blood orange juice, though we could not find any)
-edible gold glitter (coat sides with first, if you mix it it will melt)
Delicious with a full, fiery kick.
If you make one drink, make this one, it was our favorite.
Illuminant
-1 part Viniq
-1 part raspberry lemonade
Tastes dangerously like juice, but will still blind you–with sparkles!
Also– if you are not familiar with Viniq - it is actually full of swirly, shimmery sparkles. This one was gorgeous.
Oil of Anterium
-2 parts Dry Vermouth (whatever brand is most herby)
-1 part Jack Daniels Whiskey
-1 drop Creme de Menthe (you want the mint to be in the background, also too much will be too green)
-1 drop blue food dye
-cinnamon sticks (float two like seerjack talons)
Tastes medical. Don’t worry it is actually drinkable, just strong. I liked it. Or perhaps I’m just getting used to the stuff…
Master Elixirs
Vilentus Viridem
-1 part absinthe
-1 part ginger ale
-2 drops kaluha
Should bubble nicely.
Jak: Does it taste like poison?
Liz: Yeah. Wait what are you going to do with that? I’m going to drink the rest of it!
I wouldn’t drink this one but Liz announced that “that was what a real shot should taste like!”
Duskbloom draught
-2 parts St. Germain Liqueur (aka elderberry liqueur)
-1 part blueberry liqueur (find one that is blue. Can also use blueberry juice for fresher taste)
-1 part brandy
-4 parts 7 up
-blueberries (whole)
Very syrupy sweet, yet with enough herb flavor that you can pretend it might be healthy.
Ghost philter
-1 part white rum
-1 part blue curacao
-2 parts coconut cream
-4 parts cream soda (use seltzer water if you want a pure blue color, but will not taste as good)
Delicious, light, and creamy. Shake it up well so it foams. Has a strong but light scent, I could smell this one in the room for quite a while afterwards.
